• Unique and Quirky: "Liked · Karine and Marc are the perfect hosts - attentive, thoughtful & kind. We were greated with a warm welcome and immediately felt 'at home'. Chambres d'Hotes Le 1900 is a unique & quirky home. We stayed in the junior suite at the top of the house. A spacious room with en suite bathroom ( a bath and hand held shower). Lovely large comfortable bed with crisp white linen, slippers and bath robes. The room had plenty of storage and comfortable seating. Breakfast was plentiful and typically French with fruit, yogurt and pastries; scrambled egg available if one fancies it or even has the room for it! On our first night we chose to eat in and had a delicious gourmet meal prepared by Karine. Meals are served outside in a covered area, which also has a fridge for guests use and facilities to eat one's own food if required. The property also has swimming pool, jacuzzi and cinema - which unfortunately we never had the time to use. All in all a great place to stay. The location was ideal for us as we wanted to visit Bayeaux, Utah Beach, St Malo and Saint Mont Michel. Thank you Karine and Marc."

We were in the area to visit Mont-Saint-Michel, the location turned out to be strategic for all the stages of our trip. The structure is really an oasis of peace, with all the comforts imaginable (even equipped with jacuzzi and small cinema). Unfortunately, being autumn it was not possible for us to use the outdoor pool, which is why we will certainly return in the summer :) The breakfast is rich and plentiful and is served at the table in the lovely living room of the house. Unfortunately I had a small injury caused by hiking and the managers immediately went out of their way to lend me crutches and various medicines! What more can I say! Try it to believe! (Injury aside of course 😅)"
